The picture shows the interior of a school classroom. It is empty except for Tomato, who as a pupil sitting at a desk in the second row, and Spud, who as teacher is standing at the whiteboard at the front of the room.

Spud has been writing on the whiteboard with a marker. The first thing he has written - "ARE YOU STUPID?" - has been scriibbled out, to be replaced by "ARE YOU DEAF?" Tomato, responding via a speech bubble, is saying: "Please could you write a little bigger as I'm deaf".

Underneath the cartoon, the caption reads "Impairment confusion makes fools of us all ..."
