| How is Turkey preparing for the World Cup? |
| Turkey is playing friendly matches with other nations such as South Korea and Chile. Also before those matches, all league matches are cancelled and the national squad completes their preparation in training camps in order to foster a good team mentality. |
| How do you think Turkey will do in the World Cup? |
| This is the strongest Turkish National squad in comparison to the teams of past years. Eight of our players are playing in different European teams such as Milan, B.Leverkusen, Blackburn Rovers, Aston Villa, Parma, Inter. In addition, our players have significant International tournament experience. As a result, we are expecting good results in this World Cup. Qualifying for the quarter final would not be suprising. |
| Who is Turkey's best player and why? |
| The most important player in our National team has been Hakan Sukur for the last 6-7 years. He has scored key goals for the national side and also for Galatasaray in the European cups. As a result, he will once again be the most important player in our squad. |
| What do you think to the England side? |
| I think England has one of the strongest teams in their history. High quality players and improved game tactics compared to the past years, make the England matches much enjoyable for the fans. Although the recent injury of David Beckham is a bad news for England, the squad has skillful and good players who can replace him. One thing for sure is that England's matches will be most enjoyable to watch. |
