Julius is confident Nigeria can make it through their group.

Nigeria are perhaps Africa's best chance of a place in the later stages. However, Argentina, Sweden and of course England, stand in their way.
Nottingham man Julius Ayodeji, takes a look at Nigeria's chances in the World Cup.
| Julius Ayodeji - Nigeria | | How is Nigeria preparing for the World Cup? | | The Nigerian team are playing a series of international friendlies and have just departed for for Japan/Korea. The nation is preparing with prayers mixed with criticism. A traditional Nigerian trait on these ocassions. | | How do you think Nigeria will do in the World Cup? | | My gut feeling is one of confusion. With a good start (draw against Argentina) I feel we will certainly qualify. A heavy defeat and we might have to depend on other results as the group progresses. I cannot see us losing to either England or Sweden. | | Who's your best player and why? | | Most Nigerians would say the deliciously skilled JJ Okocha. I say Julius Agahowa the younger, faster, deadlier Nigerian Michael Owen. | | What do you think to the England side? | | Playground bullies. Against good passing, disciplined, and strong teams their limitations are all too obvious. | | Where will you be watching the matches? | | With no Nigerian match starting later than 8.30am I will be watching them at home. I might have the occasional Nigerian guinness standing by. To keep me fortified you understand!!! |
