Eric loves good coffee and once brought a 100-pound bag of green unroasted coffee in his luggage from Santa Domingo (is this legal? Ed.).

Eric comes from Halifax, Canada, but loves to travel. Before arriving in England, he taught English at a university in Japan and worked at a newspaper in China. He lives in a village near Nottingham and has a cat and a greenhouse full of green tomatoes.

Graeme Symington

Graeme's nose was cause for amazement when he visited Indonesia. Everyone said it was 'big but beautiful'. Obviously shy of it's bulbous proportions he now walks around the office with a large tomato firmly hiding it from view.

Graeme works as a journalist on the site, but has great skills in design.

He first ran into Nigel (quite literally) when he reversed in to his car at the Leicester City training ground.

Janet Mayo

Janet loves the sun, infact she worships every ray. Her hobbies include travelling, ice skating and scuba diving.

Janet has been with the BBC for more than twenty years. She began her career as a presenter at BBC Radio Leicester, including producing the religious programme.

When East Midlands Today began Janet started her long association with the breakfast bulletins, which she fronted until joining the Online team.

A member of the Corporation for just over a year he has now moved to online to try and lower the average age of the staff.
