Nottinghamshire Bike Ride 2002 - Picture gallery

More than four thousand cyclists saddled up for the 21st Great Nottinghamshire Bike Ride.

They had the choice of riding a course over 50 or 18 miles.

The hope was to raise more than the £33,000 which was collected for charity two years ago.

Thankfully the weather was near perfect for cycling - sunshine and a light, cooling breeze.

The event was captured by the Nottingham Online photographers and BBC Radio Nottingham.
