You can't hold a good TV cartoon show down. Pokemon movies seem to be released once every two weeks, Digimon is following the same trend and we'll soon have the live action version of Scooby Doo. | | Can somebody move that pointy thing behind you, it's getting in the way |
So welcome back Tommy Pickles and co. in an adventure set in Paris. This isn't Walt Disney, but then again, having had a healthy portion of the Rugrats on Live and Kicking the kids won't be expecting high production values. What they'll want is a staple diet of nappy jokes and Angelica bossing the gang around. They won't be disappointed. | | Faster, faster, faster!!! |
The gang get to Paris when Chuckie's dad is sent to Europe to repair a broken animatronic monster at the local amusement park. But it's all an evil plan by Coco LaBouche (Sarandon) to obtain a ready made family which will help her land a top job. Chaos ensues as the children run loose through the streets of Paris. This is not going to revolutionise the world of animation but it will entertain countless children during the Easter holidays and therefore be welcomed with open arms by parents throughout Nottinghamshire. Think you know the Rugrats? Be well-dressed when you go to the movie by entering out Rugrats In Paris goody bag competition.
