Nick Marhsall (Mel Gibson) is all man. He loves women and women love him. Which is just as well, since he works in a predominantly woman based ad. agency. | | Feeling hot hot hot. Steady girls |
Life is pretty good until he is passed over for promotion by the arrival of Darcy Maguire (Helen Hunt) as new creative director. Luckily for Marshall, he stumbles in his bathroom, steps in his bath and receives an electric shock because he was using a hairdryer at the time. | | Would you let this man hear your innermost thoughts? Don't answer that |
Like superheroes before him Marshall receives an unusual gift - he's able to hear what women are thinking. For a guy who's already a stud this is a pretty useful tool. Not only does it help him bed more women it allows him to steal the ideas of his new boss. But this is a Mel Gibson film, pandering to the heartstrings of a female audience. And with a UK release nicely timed to coincide with Valentine's day it's no surprise he falls for Hunt and vice versa. | | It's uncanny. It's as if you can read my mind |
Can you guess what happens? It's pretty predictable with the regular slush side servings of Gibson being able to bond with his teenage daughter and ultimately transform into a new man. If you like Mel Gibson, especially Mel Gibson wearing tights, then you'll like this.
