childhood sweethearts, Josh (Breckin Meyer) and Tiffany (Rachel Blanchard) swore undying love. Then they went to college and now they’re separated by 1800 long and lonely miles. | | What is that! |
One day, Tiffany stops returning Josh’s calls and when Josh quizzes her roommate he’s told that she didn't come home the night before. Crushed, Josh falls into the arms of the very hot for him Beth (Amy Smart), She even videos their coupling. He mistakenly mails the tape of the dirty deed to Tiffany, and then has to drive the 1800 miles from New York to Texas to retrieve the tape before Tiffany gets a chance to watch it. | | They Call me Casanova! |
Yes another film about American college days, in the style of National Lampoon and Porkeys for the teenflick audience. It mines the same vein of humour - the gags in 'Road Trip' are all lewd, juvenile and scatological. However, the surprising thing is that you end up caring about the characters, no matter how unspeakably and insensitively they behave. In all, might add little new to the genre, but it makes entertaining watching. . |
