Unsung Hero for Notts

Steve Spencer has been named Nottinghamshire Sports Unsung Hero of the Year.

Over the last decade Steve Spencer set up no less than five youth teams at the Mansfield and Pleasley Cricket Club.

Steve also spends four days a week visiting hundreds of children at schools around North Nottinghamshire, encouraging them to go out and get fit.

He does all this despite his diabetes and having lost a leg a couple of years ago.
