| There's a lot said in sport about unsung heroes. | | Graham Griffiths, Beeston Hockey Club |
Well, Graham Griffiths is the perfect example of an unsung hero. He's the man who has fought for the continued existence of Beeston hockey club through their darkest days. He's also been a central figure in the development of the Highfields complex next to Nottingham's tennis centre. As well as Highfields now being one of the best hockey centres in the UK it could soon be home to Nottingham rugby club. Graham has been talking to Nigel Bell about:- - Nearly four decades involvement with hockey in Nottingham
- Getting into the sport at the age of 13
- Hockey's lost opportunity after GB's Olympic gold victory
- The changing face of the Highfields Hockey centre
- Career low and high points
- Prospects for the 2005/06 season
- Lack of coverage of the sport
- Possible Notts stars of the future
