1. When 2 Labradors get together, there's going to be a lot of fun and frolicking. Both will be loyal and eager to please. Problems may arise in situations where either one or both of you feels in need of direction – who will then be the master? 2. When the Labrador meets a Swan, both are likely to be filled with admiration. The Labrador will admire the calm tranquillity of the swan and the swan will enjoy the easy playfulness of the Labrador. And when those differences begin to feel irritating, hopefully their mutual faithfulness will see them through. 3. The Labrador and Lion share qualities of loyalty to family and both can be ferocious enemies if provoked. Both can be playful and both can be lazy. But the lion is likely to want to say in control and problems might arise if the Labrador ever tries to take the Lion’s share. 4. When the lofty Eagle meets the Labrador, feathers may fly, unless the eagle is fully ready to settle down. The friendly Labrador may find it hard to understand the solitary needs of the Eagle and may at times feel rejected. And the Eagle may sometimes feel swamped by the Labrador’s need for attention. However, both are dedicated partners and are likely to be willing to work at their relationship. 5. The Labrador and the Hedgehog may seem like an unlikely couple, but both are quietly content with the life they have been offered, unlike other more predatory creatures. The loveable Labrador will soon build the trust of the timid hedgehog and the Hedgehog will feel content and secure in their loyalty. The Labrador will have to be careful though not to bark too loudly and the Hedgehog will need to roll over and have its tummy tickled occasionally! 6. When the Labrador meets the Otter there'll be a lot of activity. Both enjoy working and playing and both will appreciate the others efforts to please and fit in. This is a winning combination when they're alone, but problems may occur when they're out in the wider social environment. The loyal Labrador may feel left out when the Otter is playing to the crowd and the Otter may feel that the Labrador’s dependence is sometimes restricting. But any differences will be quickly forgotten once they're back in their den. Whatever your personality, all relationships go through good times and hard times.
