Carol Thatcher

Journalist, TV presenter, Queen of the Jungle and daughter of one of the most famous politicians ever. BBC Radio York's Adam Tomlinson spoke to the indomitable Carol Thatcher.

Carol Thatcher was only seven when her mum, Margaret Thatcher, became an MP. She lived most of her life in the public eye rubbing shoulders with international leaders and statesmen.

The journalist is now best known for her TV presenting, she appears regularly on BBC One's The One Show.

She reigned supreme in the bush-tucker trial and was crowned Queen of the Jungle in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2005.
