Oz Clarke

BBC Radio York's Adam Tomlinson, glass in hand, chats to Oz Clarke about his favourite subject, wine.

Oz Clarke is one of the world's leading wine experts and has over the years unravelled many of the myths surrounding wine for us mere mortals!

Before wine took over his life in 1984, Oz was an actor and singer, appearing in West End hit shows such as Evita, Sweeney Todd and The Mitford Girls, and touring with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

His TV and radio appearances are too numerous to mention. He has entertained us recently with his attempts to educate the palate of James May. They've visited the vineyards of France and California with hilarious results.

BBC Radio York's Adam Tomlinson cracked open a good vintage (but being on duty, he could only sniff and spit!) and talked to Oz about wine.
