Deborah Parr - April 05

Hello
I am trying to do a genealogy search. I am looking for John MacConnaghy, a mill owner from Romoan, Thompsons from Ballycastle, also Ewings from Ballycastle. My greatgrandfather was Daniel Thompson, a baker from Ann Street, Ballycastle,( married to Margaret? Ewing) who died January 7th 1912. My grandfather was Arthur Thompson, who married Ann Hunter from Limavady around 1912. It would be so nice if you could help me. Many thanks Deborah Parr (nee Thompson)

Deborah, I can't help you with any of the people you asked about, but I'm interested in Daniel Thompson, baker from Ann Street. Do you know what years he ran the bakery, and who took it over after he died? Reason I ask is my husband's family (McCollam) ran a bakery at 3 Ann Street, maybe the same one? Alexander McCollam owned/ran it in 1888 (don't know a full range of years) (he died in 1915). His grandson Charles owned/ran it from around 1939 - 1964. I'm curious about who had it in between.
