In this book, there is a band called Stage B and I would really love to get my hands on one of their albums or something to give to Charlie Reilly (a member of the band) as a surprise and he doesn't have one and would love it himself!
Any sort of feedback would be greatly accepted and just write back to my email address: jelly_ head6190 @hotmail.com

Yeah the book and Ii quote : "contained histories and discographies of all the relevant bands of the period" - problem being that that "period" was only the beginning of a scene which is as alive and kickin today as its ever been. The book seemed to give the impression (whether it meant to or not) that punk was somethin that happenned in the late 70's early 80's and it was a wee historical look back at bands and followers who went nuts in their late teens then grew up and done other things. Aye its still goin and people are still involved with the lifestyle after all these years. For more info - Belfast Punks
MITCH. ...may the tribe continue to increase.

Rocker:
As loopy lou has already informed everyone the ultimate punk book " It makes you want to spit revisited "is about to be published supported by a gig in the Belfast Empire on the 6th Nov . I know both Sean and Guy who wrote the book and they have put a massive amount of effort into it and getting all the info and pictures was a real labour of love which I'm sure will be well rewarded. The gig will be one not to miss with the punk vetrans $hame @cademy ( ex Rudi , Outcasts, Stalag 17 ), Ruefrex and the Defects all performing on the night. So go to the gig, have a pogo if you're up to it and buy the book. It's the perfect christmas present you know. Relive your youth and pass it on to your kids and let them see what mummy and daddy got up to all those years ago .

Icky:
It's about time that someone produced a book such as this, but at a very un-punk £25 I only hope it will be worth it.

Rocker:
Ickey, the book is excellent. I agree £25 is a lot of money, but when you see the amount of hard graft Guy and Sean put into it, the ultra rare photos they unearthed and all the eyewitness accounts from the punks who were there you'll agree it's money well spent. The memories of that era it will bring back to you , can you put a price on that. I promise you will not regret buying it.

Rocker:
The "It makes you want to spit" launch party gig at the Empire was a great night . The place was totally sold out and they were turning people away at the door as it was packed to capacity . Terri Hooley was shit but the Defects, Ruefrex and Shame Academy put on a hell of a show. The best Belfast punk gig since the late 70s .
