	Home to St. Patrick? Ask anyone which part of Ireland they most associate with Saint Patrick, chances are they'll reply "Downpatrick". Curiously, his association with Armagh the centre of the church in Ireland is often overlooked. So what's the story?		Armagh Railway Disaster Wednesday 12th June 1889 is a date committed to memory as one of Armagh's darkest days. It was on this day that the Armagh Railway Disaster occurred.

	WWII - US 654th Battalion at the Argory, Co. Armagh In the coach house at The Argory in Co Armagh, there were still preserved 'graffiti' which had been painted on the walls by US soldiers over sixty years ago.
