A fleeting apparition
A fleeting apparition
A glimpse of the unknown

Driving to Ballycastle for a visit one moonlit winter evening last year, just out of the corner of my eye I saw something like this. No I didn't have a camera with me so have made this sketch to illustrate the story.

You know when you are whizzing through the night in your car, you're only vaguely aware of things at the roadside going past in a blur. Well that was me. So what did I see? What ever it was it made me uneasy and I came home that evening via a different route.

However the next day I was determined to see the site in daylight and drove back along that way again. This time I did take my camera. Why don't you join me?
