Just out for a laugh and a bit a craic and the surf whenever there is surf.


Where and why did you start surfing?
Culdaff like everyone else.

Your fave board: quiver me timbers?
6' 8" Simon anderson thruster

6' 7" Escape fun board

6' 6" Peter Mc Cabe thruster

6' 2" Mark Richards Flying Fish

Soon to have 6' 6" rosy board, favorite probably. The ecsape fun board, have had some great sessions on it.


"Surfing is getting more popular in Ireland for sure". Discuss: The technology of wetsuits and boards are making the sport more bearable for the irish conditions but the winter will always sort the crowds out!

Most surf friendly pubs / gigs / eateries:

John T's/ Surfism-Indie delights/ Mr Chippie in Letterkenny.

Favourite Surfer/s and why:
Laird for his courage in the big stuff, Clay Marzo, he always seems to pull weird stuff, Taj burrow for his ariel ability, Mick for his speed, Parko for his style, Flea for his crazyness, Ry Craike for this tail throwing and Kelly for his freakish ability.

Best thing about surfing:
The freedom and release of flowing down the line and takin the drop and bottom turning on a big wave.

Your top music/reading/movies/tv/radio, surf or otherwise:
Music
- Progressive house to get goin' for a surf.
Reading - Eddie would go or Scar tissue. Movies Campaign 2 Don't watch TV Probably Radio 1.

Any ambition as a surfer?
To try and surf to best that I can and to go big.

Dream surf trip:
Probably a round the world ticket and just take it as it comes.
