How long you surfing? for about a year and a half

3 sentences that describe you/what you do:
I'm a huge adrenaline junkie, been skateboarding for 3 years so picked up surfing really easily, you know board skills, I work as an aircraft engineer in Belfast and surf every weekend or when I'm home.

Where and why did you start surfing?
Just the love of the sea and boards, one fell hand in hand and they have been in love ever since.

Any surfing honours, comp wins etc?
Not as yet, Kelly Slater's worried tho

Your fave board: quiver me timbers
I'm riding a vintage tiki 6/9 round pin, currently getting repaired at the min, fav board prob, quicksilver sticks, really light and powerful.

I think it's the whole surfer life style that people are after, and big high store chains selling cheap ass wetties, cheers Lidl.

Most surf friendly pubs / gigs / eateries:

Not sure, haven't been to many, tho the surfism was excellent on the 12th of july.

Favourite Surfer/s and why:
Taylor Knox, I've had a poster on my wall for years of him getting a 16ft air of a wave, that's a different art in its own right!!

Best thing about surfing:
Freedom in the ocean, not having to worry about day to day problems, and the feeling of catching a wave.

Your top music/reading/movies/tv/radio, surf or otherwise: Music - usually very heavy before a surf to pump up, and chilled after to "chill out"

Any ambition as a surfer?
Just having fun at the mo, but hopefully score a contest sum day.
