CONTRAVENED

People who want to build homes in the countryside around Limavady have expressed their outrage after their planning applications were turned down. 28 applications have been given an initial refusal. Planners said the applications contravened a new law called PPS 21 - which had not yet come into force. Some argued that the new rules were too strict. Michael Bradley spoke to three of the disappointed families.
