TARRED AND FEATHERED

One sunny day in a park in Derry, Bridget was walking with her young family, when she came across two women tied to goalposts. This was 1974, and the women were what was described as "soldier dolls". But forty years later these events still give her pause for thought. She went for a walk, in 2010, with Mark Patterson, and one of her now grown-up daughters, at the site where it happened.
