Paying a Debt

Derry City Football Club has settled its debt with Dungannon Swifts and agreed to honour more than sixty thousand pounds in season tickets. The club owed Swifts almost forty thousand pounds for its percentage of the transfer fee from Niall McGinn's move to Celtic. At a meeting in the city, hundreds of season ticket holders learned their payments would be honoured by the new board and fans got to vote on the company's new name.
