"The worst thing that can happen to a mother has happened." Bebe Johnston spoke to Mark Patterson about the death of her son through suicide.

"Your life stops. Everything is a chore. For me personally my life did stoEamonn Johnston after winning "Mr Gay Derry"p. I just wanted to stay in my bed."

Bebe Johnston told Mark Patterson how she tried to pick up the pieces after the death of her son. Eamonn was a hairdresser, and a former "Mr Gay Derry" who worked to counsel other gay people. He died of suicide on July 11 2007. Bebe is launching a new CD in his memory to raise awareness of suicide. She said: "The worst thing that can happen to a mother has happened so a few lyrics in a song can only make me stronger."
