BOOM HALL

Boom Hall was built in 1779, ninety years after Derry was saved from the starvation of the great siege - and it took its name from the wooden boom that was erected during the siege. It was a grand house, but now is just a majestic ruin. Deirdre Donnelly visited it with Ken McCormack.
