TAXI "AMBUSH"

A taxi driver whose car was badly damaged in one of a series of attacks at Bishops Gate in Derry says he belives the stone-throwers want Catholic drivers off the roads. Three cars were damaged at the same location on a single weekend; at least two of them were taxis. One female driver suffered bruising to her arm and a male driver says a brick was dropped on his windscreen from above. He was then struck by a second brick that had been thrown at the driver's window. He spoke -- on condition of anonymity -- to Jenny Witt.
