LIVING FORGERY

Kate Smurthwaite passed herself off as a genuine Goretti Horgan as she took to the vacant fourth plinth at Trafalgar Square. She was taking part in Anthony Gormley's exhibit, One & Other, in which people from the UK spent an hour on the plinth from 6 July through to 14 October and webcast live. During her time on the plinth, Kate was interviewed live, by Mark Patterson. She explained that she did it to highlight the disparity in abortion rights for women from Northern Ireland.
