Love's Gate by Emma Akuffo | A coincident path leads to a startlingly old gate its hinges well used yet soundless like brand new A gentle but full breeze awakens the gate swings it widely open like heavy eyelids no longer restrained Children scramble on and play as though airborne Acting out scenes to the rhythm of unheard melody Adults lean against the gate’s sturdy frame re-aligning their lives to oscillate in its time frame.
