The Story
It was the Leaving Cert Ball and Martina was looking forward to singing in front of her parents. She could see her father in the audience but he had his head tipped back and seemed to be staring at the ceiling in boredom. After the performance Martina challenged her father for an explanation.

Comment: A lovely memory read in a nice fresh country accent, and a lesson to all growing children. Daddies have soft hearts too and sometimes tears of happiness for their family.
