Sally Casey's daughter Siobhán had taken her younger sister Gráinne into town in the family car to see some of her friends who had also received their GCSE results that day. Sally and her husband were sitting in their house when suddenly their car came flying past the window and crashed into the wall outside ...

What has happened since that day?
Gráinne was understandably a little nervous about learning to drive after her bad experience but she eventually grasped the nettle and did it, as she really needed it for her work. She is now a Neighbourhood Youth Worker in Surrey. Siobhán works in Rome for the Irish Food and Agricultural Organisation.
