"I could see this shadow at the end of the bed... it was my grandmother."

The Story

Mike had been on a tour of duty with the armed forces at the time his grandmother passed away. They had always been very close however and Mike lamented the fact that he had not been able to say goodbye properly. A supernatural occurrence however, changed Mike's outlook and reassured him that his beloved grandmother was at peace.

My View

The gift I was given that evening when my grandmother appeared to me was the start of a whole new belief that was to change my life. I knew what had happened was very special and I felt that I had been chosen for a particular reason. I remain sure that it was my grandmother's choice to show herself to me for the last time. I hadn't seen her for a long time before she died and this, I believe, was her special goodbye to me.

After those amazing events, I wanted to look closer into the paranormal and learn more about what had happened to me. I've always had an interest in the paranormal, and indeed anything that was not the norm. When I was a young child I remember feeling and seeing strange figures appearing to me when I was lying in bed at night. I now know that those figures were most probably spirit people who were trying manifest themselves to me.

My life carried on much like anyone else's from there on however. From time to time I would've had a special feeling come over me when, I believed, spirit people were close. This particular gift has stayed with me over the years.

Of course I wanted to mix with like minded people but being in HM Forces restricted me somewhat. After I had left the forces however, I gained awareness of various groups involved in spiritual development and paranormal research. One day while browsing on the internet, I noticed a local paranormal group that was run by a man in my town. I felt this was the opportunity I'd been waiting for. We made contact and happily I was offered a place in that group. Although it got me started on my journey of progress in spiritual development, it wasn't very long before I felt the need for a more scientific approach with a clearer focus on spiritual development. So it was that myself and few of the other members formed a new group with those objectives at the core of our activity.

In 2005 the Northern Ireland Paranormal Society ( NIPS ) was born. Since then it has grown from strength to strength . It's a small but well-run team of six paranormal investigators. NIPS has been both consulted and interviewed by many radio & TV companies.

In October 2007, Mike realised that the spirit world was attempting to communicate closer with him & with this in mind, he felt that he was being drawn down a different path & he knew he had to make decisions. He decided to take a new spiritual journey, this is when he thought of the idea to form CONNECT 2 PARANORMAL ULSTER.

I realised that there was an opening for a very unique & first ever Psychic Investigation Team in Northern Ireland, comprising of just 2, a Spiritualist Medium & a Psychic Investigator working together.

The Story Begins...

My personal journey is well under way now and my spiritual development has improved to the extent that it has made me more aware of both my clairvoyant and clairaudience senses, which have help me to see and hear things when communicating with spirit.

In conclusion; I thank my dear grandmother all those years ago for showing me that there is so much more to look forward to when we go over to the other world.
