Anita Lamb
"He was a small horse but very cheeky and very gutsy. He would have tackled anybody and anything."
The Story
Anita recounts this touching story about a dying horse in a field. What is extraordinary is the behaviour of the other horses in the field who came to pay their last respects to their friend.

Comment: As horse owners and having lost a hore to illness, we where especiallly interested in Anita's day.
Anita was very brave telling her story and I have to say,we three all shed a wee tear or Two for her and the horses.
Horses DO, very much so have feelings especially when a friend, equine or human is ill or near to death.
One of our ponys greived so much for her lost stable mate that she became very ill herself.
Thankfully, with our help she got over it and has now got over her loss. She won't however, walk past her friends old stable.
Thankyou for a great programme and regards to Anita.
