The Story
Brenda Blaney recounts her childhood fascination with the shops of Armagh in 1944. Over and over again the magic of Woolworths drew Brenda and her sister Kitty through the shop's glass doors when they were on their way home from school. One wet December afternoon the Christmas display dazzled Brenda into making a terrible mistake.
