Brian Rudkin McCullough

"I had overcome a lot since my car accident. I was determined to get out of the wheelchair and do something with my life."

The Story

After a car accident in Malawi, Brian was confined to a wheelchair. Having always led a very active life, he was determined to continue living it to the full. He decided to go back to education and studied for a degree. It took 5 years to complete. Brian remembers feeling very proud at the moment when he was awarded his certificate. That was 16th September 1995. He graduated at 56 years old.

The story continues...

Now in 2007, at age of 68, Brian is presently working through the 2nd half of his Master's degree in Church History & Dogma.

He is the UK representative for Potchefstroom University of Higher Christian Education - in Transvaal S.A.

His dream is to return to Malawi where his many previous works included sourcing resources to educate children of mixed race. He would now like to go back and use his new qualifications to teach voluntarily in the schools of Malawi.

Locally, Brian is also involved with Help the Aged and oversees ten churches and around 3000 citizens.

Brian has lived and worked in many countries and has engaged with world leaders, politicians, royalty and just about every other level of global society. In fact his life has been so colourful one could write a book about it... and that's exactly what he doing now. His book, to be published soon, will be entitled: "One more step along the road I go."
