The Story

Jim was a promising young footballer who knew well that various prestigious clubs were watching his progress with a keen eye. He worked on the window displays in a big Belfast department store. One day he got a call to go to the central office where a phone call was waiting for him. There he was told to go to the Grand Central Hotel in Royal Avenue where the manager of Liverpool Football Club was waiting to speak to him.
