He may lack the security that comes with having his Strokes brethren either side of him, but he is also liberated. The material from his solo album is ecstatic, songs that run free, ‘Jamaica’, songs that do a wheelie right over your heart, ‘101’ and some ramped up covers, the Cars’ ‘Don’t Cha Stop’.
