When The Thrills lashed out their debut album at Oxegen (was it 2004?) the sun was out and the surf was surely up. This time around the spirits are dampened, and a little innocence has gone. They bat out the lovely arrangements of 'One Horse Town' and 'Santa Cruz'. There's merit in 'Rosebud' and new song 'Nothing Changes Around Here' has style if not an immediate place in your heart. Mandolins seem to be the new thing.
