THAT Gallagher Chat
Noel Gallagher has spoken to ATL about the outrage surrounding Russell Brand's Radio Two show, following a recent co-present with Jonathon Ross, which included 'lewd' phone calls to actor Andrew Sachs. The Across the Line interview made national news with Radio 1 and most of the major national newspapers crediting ATL for Noel's controversial comments. You can listen to the interview on our Oasis page, also featuring the chatty Gallagher and Gem chatting to Rigsy as the band announced their Slane Castle gig.

Noel, who is a close friend of Brand's and has appeared on the show almost weekly for two years, told Rigsy:

"I spoke to Russell this morning, he told me he was going to fall on his sword. Personally, I'm outraged that, yet again, the joyless f**kers who write the columns in the Daily Mail, The Telegraph or The Observer - have dictated the tone and are telling people how to behave.

"I seen the Daily Mail today - they said that Russell should be arrested and charged! Arrested for what? For taking the p*ss?

"It's so typical of the English in general - 10 thousand people get outraged, but only five days (sic) after it has happened?

"At worst it was a juvenile prank that wasn't unfunny but it's hardly offensive.

"You know what? There's now a massive divide. Them and us.

"I feel bad for Russ, cause he really loved doing the show. I loved being on it as well."
