Glasgowbury 2008
PANAMA KINGS
DESCRIBE IN THREE WORDS: Better Every Time

CROWD REACTION: The Panama Kings are everywhere at the moment and you're likely to recognise at least two of their tunes. Most of the crowd were dancing and singing along from start to finish. The sunshine and catchy songs put everyone in a great mood and those who weren't on their feet showing appreciation, were chilling out on the grass, attentively watching the Belfast based foursome.

REMARKABLE MOMENT: A few remarkable moments in this set, mostly based on the strength of the songs. From 'Where's Your Sense Of Urgency' as the opener, to the popular 'Your Children Are Screaming' as the finale it really was impossible to stop from at least shuffling your feet during the set. The single 'Young Blood' also went down a treat. On stage the band were aloof and cool, but it works for them without coming across as arrogant. A great set.

GLASGOWBURY RATING OUT OF TEN: 8
