Glasgowbury 2008
HAM SANDWICH
DESCRIBE IN THREE WORDS: Sexy Leg Scratch

CROWD REACTION: Not an amazing crowd turn out for the Meath lovelies, but as news spread that Cashier No. 9 had cancelled, more and more people filtered over to the Small but Massive Stage and stopped to have a look. The soft female vocals and heavy guitars seemed to be a bit lost on a festival stage, though their bigger tunes carried well. Fans of Asobi Seksu and The Chalets should check these guys out.

REMARKABLE MOMENT: The beautiful vocals and lyrics made Ham Sandwich perfect for a lazy saturday afternoon with a pint in hand. The most remarkable moments were a 'sexy leg scratch' from the bass player and the dedication of my personal favourite track 'St. Christopher' to those 'drunken mates who need to be looked after'.
