Describe In Three Words: What's the point?
Remarkable Moment: Look, in the light of the dawn of a new era of BBC honesty and integrity, I'm going to admit something - I didn't actually go to see the Easy Star All-Stars and their reggae romp through Radiohead's back catalogue. I did, however, hear their entire set whilst sat in the press tent dutifully updating this site for y'all. If I could have escaped it, I would have. The only remarkable thing about this was that anyone stayed beyond the second or third song. One Radiohead song played in a reggae style-ee is a diverting oddity. Two is mildly grating yet forgiveable. An hour's worth is, frankly, cruel. If Thom Yorke were dead, he'd be spinning in his grave.
Crowd Reaction: Muted, and rightly so.
EP Rating: Seeing as they're called the Easy Star All-Stars, I'm going to give them 1 for the name. That's all.
