Remarkable Moment: California Soul is the money shot, but Woman of the Ghetto is the full ten minute funkathon, with the session guys obviously relishing playing something with leagues of depth. At times the tunes are in danger of slipping off the coffee table but this is the real deal and her voice at all times is a weapon. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.

Crowd Reaction: little crowd there is are in raptures at the soul veteran’s set, note perfect and slick as we would expect for a diva spanning four decades in music.
