Remarkable Moment: The Electric Arena is bouncing from the word Go. Ninja, Kaori and the Team emerge to a synthetic siren before launching us into ‘The Power Is On’. It’s the first of many vibrant tunes, the Go! Team treating the Picnic to a set equal to the energy and colour seen at last year’s main stage headliners, Basement Jaxx. After rattling through the majority of debut album ‘Thunder, Lightning Strike’ and a few cuts from the soon to be released ‘Proof Of Youth’. It’s a great way to close events for a few thousand revellers at this end of the site.

Crowd Reaction: The Go! Team may not have much experience in headlining venues of this size, but they aren’t about to lie down for anybody – quite the opposite. They encourage the crowd to jump with them during new single ‘Doing It Right’ and the get just what they want.
