Electric Picnic 2007
Bat For Lashes

Describe In Three Words: Mystical, masterful creatures.

Remarkable Moment: The most remarkable moment was the opening drum beat for 'What's A Girl To Do'. Two of the girls bang the lone drum with all their might (the vibrations hitting you right in the chest), and never has a tambourine sounded so good alongside it. But it's just one moment of magic among many.

They look like kids dressed in their halloween costumes, but it works. There's a mystery that is still there on stage and leaves the crowd in awe.

Crowd Reaction: The tent was packed (helped possibly by the first real downpour of the weekend). Ending with 'Priscilla', Natasha & Co. have the crowd in their hands. But although they were great, there's a senae they could be legendary. Let's wait and see.

EP Rating: 7
