It's your one-stop shop for all the Foy Vance material we've gathered over the years here at ATL, and there's plenty... First up is his brilliant contribution to the ATL / raw money gig at the Oh Yeah Centre in November 2009 - a cover of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car, Bruce Sprinsteen's The River and his own Indiscriminate Act of Kindness. All this, and he even had time to pop over to our stylish sofa for a bit of a chat. You can also enjoy a rendition of Afternoons and Coffee Spoons at the Ulster Hall, followed by a remarkable performance of Indiscriminate Act of Kindness, accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra no less, in the grand setting of Belfast's Waterfront Hall (Duke Special also had a crack at that). Then, he joins forces with the Duke to offer up a festive rendition of Silent Night, accompanied this time by the Salvation Army band. Foy accompanied himself via the magic of a loop delay pedal while recording a version of Shed A Little Light for the fourth series of ATL TV, and your video treats culminate in an interview with ATL producer Paul McClean ahead of that Ulster Orchestra mash-up referred to earlier. Then you can shut your eyes and enjoy the two tracks Foy treated us to when he came into the ATL studio for a live on-air interview with Rigsy. Old favourite Bailie's Blood and the brand new Get It Over were performed as the rest of the crew looked reverentially. Top stuff. Follow the links to enjoy it all in the embedded media player above.
