Terms and conditions

1. The ticket giveaway is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, aged 16 or over, except BBC employees, anyone connected with the giveaway and their close relatives. Proof of age, identity and eligibility may be requested.

2. Entry is only by emailing your responses to [email protected] or you can fill in an entry form, in person, at the BBC Radio Northampton reception during office hours. Closing date is Thursday, 18th June at 9am.

3. If you enter your answers after the closing time specified above, your entry will not be accepted.

4. The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible and correct entries on Thursday, 18th June. The selection will take place live on BBC Radio Northampton and winner's details will be published on bbc.co.uk/Northampton.

5. The winner will be contacted by telephone on Thursday, 18th June. If a selected winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made, the BBC reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner-up (also randomly selected).

6. There is no prize except for the tickets to the British Grand Prix 2009 and driver autograph signing session. There is no cash alternative and the tickets cannot be sold or transferred in any circumstances.

7. Travel to the event, any accommodation and any other cost will be solely at the entrant's expense and the BBC will not reimburse the winners for any such costs.

8. The winner is responsible for ensuring that tickets holders have the minimum age required to attend the event. The BBC will not be responsible for any failure by the ticket holders to gain entry to the event venue due to the behaviour of the ticket holder or their failure to meet the admission requirements of the venue.

9. The BBC's decision as to the winner is final. No correspondence relating to this promotion will be entered into.

10. Entrants must agree to take part in any publicity if required.

11. The BBC reserves the right to disqualify any entries that breach these rules or are in any way fraudulent or cancel the ticket giveaway at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside its control. There can only be one entry per person. 

12. The BBC, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem with the Internet or the post, or otherwise which may result in any entry being lost or not properly registered.
