Karl is currently the Artistic Director The Castle and he will take up a new post as Executive Director at one of Ireland's top National Theatres in County Kerry. Karl received great critical acclaim for directing Beauty and the Beast in December 2007 and will be directing this year's Community Production The Emperor's New Clothes this June. Karl finishes in July, but will leave behind some fantastic new initiatives which all staff at The Castle are keen to maintain to ensure The Castle keeps moving forward both artistically and commercially. Fellow colleagues have been paying tribute to Karl's great work at the theatre.
