Friday, 16th November 2007 was Children In Need day, and Northamptonshire joined the rest of the country to help raise money. ![]() A giant Pudsey Bear made out of pennies Workers in Rushden wore fancy dress to walk 10,000 steps, there was a bring and buy sale at Overstone Golf and Leisure centre and Wellingborough hairdresser, Jeet Savani offered to cut hair for Children In Need. Also pupils at All Saints Church of England Primary School in Northampton built a giant Pudsey Bear out of pennies. Do something differentThis year's theme for the big day was to do something different to raise money. ![]() Liam has his legs waxed for CIN 2007 So it was out with bath tubs full of baked beans and in with leg waxing at Morrisons in Wellingborough (as you can see in the photo of Liam from the supermarket having his legs waxed). Also there was playing a round of golf at Collingtree Golf course and live mannequins at Beatties store window in Northampton.
