Karl Wallace will be joining The Castle as artistic director on 15th October 2007. He replaces Bart Lee who was artistic director at The Castle between May 2004 and March 2007. Since September 2006, Karl was artistic director of the Belltable Theatre and Arts Centre, Limerick, Ireland. Upon joining The Castle, he goes straight into rehearsals for the Christmas show, Beauty & the Beast, which opens on 30th November. His freelance direction credits include UK tours of Tall Tales by Oscar Wilde & Tim Burton and Mojo-Mickybo by Owen McCafferty, which also went on to tour the USA.
