As Corby's regeneration advances, a group of artists are working with the local community.

Thinkspace is an arts project based around Corby's regeneration programme. Artists are working with local people to explore the changes taking place in the town.

Artists have been working with children, teenagers and adults in the Kingswood area, encouraging them to think about their ever-changing environment.

They have also helped to make a film, which you can watch by selecting the link below:

Pupils of Kingswood Primary School were some of those taking part, as the lead artist, Jo Dacombe, explains: "We gave them all digital cameras and took them out around the estate; we got them to photograph things that they liked. We've also recorded some of their thoughts about the new square that's going to be built and how they feel about it."

Others taking part in the project include Shout Youth Theatre and BAM (Big About Music).

Lorraine Dziarkowska, who lives locally, has been working with the Teen Café. She said the project has been about getting people to think about how they are going to use their new public spaces "and to think how life can be different to what they already have."
