Faithful Fans

By David Blckburn from Northampton.

Will you, to Sixfields up the road,
Or to Franklin's Gardens, go?
If it’s fine and not too wet,
But never in the snow?

Do you buy a season ticket
Defend the team, and captain too?
Wear the scarf, and cheer them on,
A true fan, through and through?

Are you a keen supporter
And with them through thick and thin?
Be always there, if they lose,
Or only when they win?

Now think of our national faith
And what this means to you,
Attending church, supporting Christ,
What sort of fan are you?
